Speech Festival Preparation

We help performers excel in speech festivals and competitive performances. Our students have consistently been placed or have won merit certificates in local and overseas speech festivals. We have also trained large groups for choral speaking competitions.

Brandon can help students to prepare for poetry, prose, monologues, duologues and Bible reading competitions.

Our experienced tutors provide tips based on our experience with speech competitions and will help students with:

• Understanding the pieces; vital to being able to convey meaning
• Practising difficult sounds, reading fluently
• Using pitch, pace and tone to add variety
• Performance techniques
• Projection and breathing techniques
• Overcoming fears

Over 50 Brandon students achieved top three places in the HK Schools’ Speech Festival in the past five years.
