
- The vast majority of Downe House pupils are full-time boarders, with 23 nationalities represented. Brandon girls are extremely positive about their DH experiences!
- Out of the classroom, we have seen girls developing new interests, particularly in debate, art and music.
- The new sixth form centre is the hub of the school; state of the art classrooms, meeting spaces and even a juice bar encourage the girls to gather and develop research skills.
- Y8 students spend part of their year at the Downe House Sauveterre campus in the South-West of France!
- There is a packed schedule of talks, debates, competitions and school productions.

How do I get into Downe House School? What is the Downe House Admissions Process?
11+ (Y7)or 12+ (Y8)
In Y6 – 11+ or Y7 – 12+
Step 1 – Attend an Assessment Day during the Autumn Term. Girls take part in a variety of activities – from drama and design technology to team building workshops.
Step 2 – By November of Y6 – take the ISEB CPT (we recommend using Pre-quest.com to practice – see www.pre-quest.com for more information)
13+ (Y9)
Y6 – Take the ISEB CPT
If results are strong enough, each candidate will then be invited to attend an assessment day (interviews + activities + creative writing task)
Y8 – Take the ISEB 13+ for setting purposes.
