How do I get into Brighton College? What is the Brighton College Admissions process?

11+/ Y7

During the December of Y6 – Academic Assessment Day. Students are assessed in maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Later, in January of the school year before they join, candidates will be invited to the Interview and Activities Day

13+/Y9 Entry

During Y6 – ISEB CPT (Common Pre-Test). We recommend using www.pre-quest.com to prepare.

February of Y6 – Assessment and interview day at the College.

16+/Y12 Entry

The College will invite all those registered for a place in our Sixth Form to join them for an Assessment Day, which takes place in November prior to the year of entry (so Y11!) .

The first round of assessments will involve written papers in verbal reasoning, maths and a general paper assessing aptitudes in scientific reasoning, reading and writing. This will be followed with a second round of interviews the following week.

Offers will be conditional upon GCSE results.
