Charterhouse School is a co-ed day and boarding school in Godalming, Surrey for students aged 13 to 18 years old. Charterhouse rang the changes in 2021 by going fully co-ed.

Charterhouse offers both IB and A levels in Sixth form, making it popular with parents looking at overseas university options. In 2022, according to the school, the average performance of A Level students was AAA. In addition, the IB Diploma cohort achieved a mean Diploma score of over 36 points and 91% of subject papers were graded between 5 and 7.
Charterhouse has a good track record in preparing students for US universities: in 2022, the school says that 26 leavers will study in the United States, with four taking up places at the Ivy League: Harvard, Duke, Columbia and University of Pennsylvania.

For Y9 (13+) Charterhouse asks all candidates to take the ISEB CPT (common pre-test) in Y7 followed by attending a Charterhouse Assessment Day during which they will be tested in English and maths.

16+ (Sixth form)
Admission is by competitive examination and interview. Candidates are assessed at Charterhouse in early November and offers of places are made on 1 December. Academic, Art, Music, Sport Scholarships and Awards also take place in November.
